Welcome to our Women's Ministry page of New Life Baptist Church.  It is our desire that you can experience some of the excitement we have in serving our Lord Jesus Christ.  The Women's Ministry at New Life is known as "Women with Heart."  The purpose is to exalt the Lord, to evangelize the community and to edify and equip the believer.  Women with Heart is a vehicle for the Holy Spirit to touch lives.... it is not a business venture.  We believe that every believer has at least one spiritual gift and it is our desire to encourage each woman to use her gift to assist others and grow in her walk with our Lord.  We would love to have you join us, as we give of ourselves to further the work of our Lord.  Please visit us and you will surely walk away knowing you have been in the presence of God!!  Blessings to you and may you feel the very breath of Jesus upon your life!

Our Women With Heart meetings are the third Tuesday of each month  at 6:30 pm.  All women (young and older) are encouraged to attend.  Bring your Bible, a salad and a friend and join us.  We have a great time together and share topics of interest to women.  During the month of October, Ms. Marjorie Glemaker, author and soul winner, shared her heart with us. What a blessing!

In early November, we took a group of 15 to the Holy Land Experience in Orlando, Florida. What a great move of God in hearts and lives. Then at our monthly meeting we learned to make beautiful Christmas wreaths.  Most of those wreaths have been sold but if there are orders placed we will personalize them and deliver before December 1. Our first annual Christmas Craft Fair was held on on Saturday November 19.  Mrs. Bonnie Dunton was so instrumental in the dream and the reality. There were over 30 vendor tables with a variety of homemade items.   Great Christmas shopping was available.

On December 13 we gathered in the gymnasium and assembled 251 Christmas gift bags for our bus riders!  What a blessing to see so many people excited about helping others.  The bus riders were so excited to recieve their gift bags on December 18.   Due to generosity of New Life Baptist Church and friends, we were able to distribute gift bags to all of the children in church on Christmas morning. Thank all who assisted in any way to make this gift giving possible.
